Oh, I am such a poet, lol.
I am sure you can tell by my title, that I am on my way back to Barbados, sniff, yes, it is true. I am leaving my garden again for the summer, returning in the fall. This year I got to see my mums tree flowering, however I shall miss the eremurus, although I have seen it before. Hope everything is happy over the summer, all my newly planted trees and shrubs, I guess I shall find out in the fall.

It must be so hard to leave your garden just as it is coming into it’s summer glory. But I wish you halcyon days of sunshine and sand. It’s like that old school days song: See you in September.

But in just a few months I will be back, keeping my fingers crossed that all my new plants will survive.

Deborah……I was up at Windy Ridge (Heathers) this week what a transformation from when you saw it in just over a week….I would recommend a revisit if you could on the way down to Toronto….they enjoyed you’re interest and enthusiasm…….

I wish I could stop in, but have to be at the airport at 5:30 a.m., I am sure they would not appreciate a visit at that time, lol. Maybe in the fall, I would love to see it again.

Safe journey and may the time fly while you are having fun in Barbados so that September arrives before you know it.

So tough to leave the garden when it’s just getting into the swing of things. What a shame. Although heading back to Barbados doesn’t sound like the worst thing either ;))

It is certainly not the worst thing to have to put up with, that is for sure, I just tell myself my plants are growing, when I finally do see the summer flowerers, they will be huge!

Deborah:
Thank you for sharing a part of your time ‘home’ at KG to go off galivanting with me. I am sure that all of your newest additions will settle in famously and will hopefully bring a smile to your face upon your return this Fall. Who knows, a fall visit to LH would be a great reunion. Safe journey back to sun and sand!

It must be hard to leave again, does someone look after your garden while you are away? Have a wonderful summer in the sunshine, looking forward to hearing all about it!

No, I just have some one to cut the lawn. But I actually enjoy weeding, so everything can wait.
