Everywhere I look around,
I am no longer a florist, but I am missing the creativity. So I decided to paint a small picture for Ian as his Valentines Day card.
Hope he likes it…
If you want to see what I was up to on past Valentines Days, you can here and here.

Really beautiful bouquets from 2010 — much nicer than roses.

I agree, I love mixed bouquets.

I MISS your flowers. Don’t you have casual at home flowers to share with us now?? Your flower work was one of the first hooks that bound me to blogs!

This is lovely, you should paint more often!

Thank you Sunny, that is sweet. I did bring some canvases and paints down, now I have so much more free time.

I’m sure you miss the creativity, but not the stress. That’s how I feel about my old wedding cake business – miss doing the beautiful work, don’t miss the stress though.
I’m sure Ian enjoyed your painting as it’s lovely.

Yes, Heather, the creativity, love my stree free life, although have already started worrying about missing my snowdrops. Thanks for the compliment about the painting.

Hi there, thanks for popping by my blog. Nice artwork! Ah… creativity is something I have missed but find blogging with photos and video fills the gap. Best wishes to you 🙂

It was a joy to visit your blog/garden, and enjoy spring. Now that my job is no longer creative, I am looking for other sources as well.

Thank you, I certainly am inspired by the bright colours in Barbados.

stunning colours and swirls to your warm heart Deborah. With the carribean light, you should get some vivid artwork done. Something to take back to KG when you return. Did not know you were this artistic and look forward to seeing more 🙂

Thank you for the compliment Laura, I have been enjoying painting while I have so much free time in Barbados.
